Sweet potato is good source of vitamin B6, Vitamin C, D, Iron Magnesium and rich of fiber. So another reason for you to prepare this sabzi. It is quick and easy to make. Just go for it.

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp Ghee
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 2 Green chilies (Ginger-chili paste Optional)
  • 1 medium peeled and chopped Sweet potato
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Roasted peanut powder
  • Finely chopped Coriander leaves

Instructions

  • Heat ghee in a pan. Add cumin seeds and let them pop up.
  • Add green chilies. Or you can add Ginger-chili paste too.
  • Add sweet potato. Mix well. Add salt. Stir well.
  • Cover and cook for 5-6 minutes or until sweet potato turns tender.
  • Remove the lid and mix well. Check with the help of a fork if the sweet potato is cooked.
  • Add lemon juice, roasted peanut powder. Mix well cook for 2 minutes.
  • Turn off the heat. Add coriander leaves.
  • This sabzi goes well with upawas dosa or uapwas bhakari.
