Very simple, quick and healthy recipe loaded with lots of vegetables. Gets ready with minimum efforts and its a full meal by itself!

Ingredients
- 3 tsp Oil
- Whole Garam Spices -Â 2 bay leaf
3~4 cloves
3~4 black peppercorn
2 green cardamom - 1 cup Basmati Rice
- 1 Onion sliced
- 1 tsp Ginger Garlic paste
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- Cauliflower cut into florets
- Green Beans
- Carrot
- Frozen Corn
- Green Peas
- Paneer cut into cubes
- 2 slit Green Chillies
- 2 cups water + 1 oz extra
Instructions
- Wash and soak basmati rice for 30 minutes.
- Heat oil adds cumin seeds, whole spices, add sliced onion and cook till onion becomes translucent.
- Add ginger-garlic paste saute till raw smell from ginger-garlic goes away.
- Add veggies, mix, sprinkle some salt, cover and cook for 3 minutes.
- Add green chilies, paneer, mix now add soaked rice, mix and add two cups of water.
- Add salt to taste, some dry fruits, add 2 tsp oil, mix and boil till the time water starts to evaporate from rice.
- Sprinkle a few splashes of water, cover, and simmer on low heat for 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes turn off the gas heat and wait for another 10 minutesto open the lid.
- Garnish with green peas and serve with raita or pickle!
Notes
- Choose veggies of your choice.
- Make use of homemade ghee for aromatic rice.
