Hi Madhura, I am little confused about the amount of ghee. It says 6 tea spoons in the video and 6 table spoons in the text of recipe. What is the right quantity?

Hi Madhura, Nice quick way to make the besan ladoos. Thanks for sharing this recipe. I have question regarding the powdered sugar.I am in USA,I have powdered sugar bought from walmart which can be used for baking purposes ,I want to know whether this same powdered sugar can be used for making these besan ladoos and karanji filling.saran as well, the ingredients of the powdered sugar say : sugar and corn starch, so is this same as 'pitthi sakhar' we get in India. HI Madhura, I love to read and try your recipes. For this one you have mentioned 1tsp sooji, when do we add that? I am really learning all this now and so this basic question might sound too stupid :p.

You have to add sooji first in ghee and then besan. You can skip Rava if you want. Thanks

I had a mental block when it came to indian sweets; I thought they were so lenghty and difficult to make. I used your microwave style to make besan ladoos and they were a big hit. Nobody believed me when I told them I made them in 10 mins. smile
