Ingredients

  • 1 cup Maida / All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Jeera / Cumin Seeds
  • 1/4 cup Water

Instructions

  • Take maida into the mixing bowl.
  • To that add oil, jeera, salt and mix well.
  • Then add water to make it into a stiff dough.
  • Cover and keep aside for 30 minutes.
  • After 30 minutes, divide the dough into two portions.
  • Roll out dough into very thin roti.
  • Then cut the roti in the desired shape.
  • Take out shankrpali on to plate and repeat the same process with the rested dough.
  • Now deep fry it in hot oil until it gets deep golden color from both sides.
  • Allow the shankarpali to cool down, then store in an airtight container.
  • Serve with a cup of tea!
