Hi Shreeya, for rawa idlis, you have to mix 1 cup of raw rawa with 1 cup of curd and salt and a little water. Keep this for half an hour and mix the batter again. Add little more water if needed. Mix 1 tea spoon of ENO to this batter and mix. Immediately pour in idli moulds and steam for 10-12mnts. You can also add grated vegetables to this batter. Once the idlis are cooked, give tempering of mustard seeds, curry leaves and whole red chillies if you like or you have them as it is. thanks and happy cooking

Is the raw rice similar to the regular Basmati Rice? Or is it different?

I have used regular rice (Sona Masoori) and not the basmati one. Thanks
