Ingredients

  • 6 White bread slices
  • 1/4 cup Rice flour
  • 1/4 cup Slices Onion
  • 3~4 Finely chopped Green chillies
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • Salt to taste
  • 1” Chopped Ginger
  • Finely chopped Coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  • Cut the bread slices into pieces and add into blender jar.
  • No need to remove the edges of the bread. If you want, you can cut the edges off.
  • Add ginger, green chillies and blend in blender.
  • Transfer the blended bread into a dish and add rice flour, onion, cumin seeds, salt, lemon juice, coriander leaves.
  • Mix well and add a little water at a time to make dough.
  • 1- 2 tsp water is enough. Make stiff dough.
  • Take small ball of dough and roll it into shape of medu vada.
  • Heat up oil on low to medium heat in a pan.
  • Drop vade into hot oil.
  • Fry vade until these turn nice golden brown from both sides.
  • After frying for about 3 minutes on medium heat from one side flip the vada over.
  • Fry for about 3-4 minutes from other side as well.
  • Take the vada out, drain excess oil and transfer these into a dish.
  • Bread vada is already.
