Pom-fret fry makes my husband and daughter crazy. It’s one of the most favorite dish in sea food at our home. Its very simple, easy and tasty recipe.No matter when you cook this, for lunch, brunch, dinner, I am sure it will just vanish from dish in no time!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Pomfret
  • 2 tsp Ginger Garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Red Chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp Coriander powder
  • 1/2 tbsp Garam Masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp Sooji
  • 1 tsp Rice Flour

Instructions

  • Wash pom-fret, pat dry, cut it's tail and side wings.
  • Take ginger garlic paste, salt, lemon juice, and turmeric powder, make a paste and apply on fish, keep for 10 minutes.
  • Take coriander powder, red chilli powder, garam masala, salt, mix well, and apply on fish.
  • Mix sooji, rice flour, salt together, deep fish in sooji mixture, and coat well form both sides.
  • Shallow fry from both sides in a nonstick pan for 3 to 4 minutes on medium heat.
