Ande ka fanda! Fragrant scrambled eggs stuffed in tasty whole wheat flat bread. Tastes simply amazing and a great for breakfast, lunch or at any time.

Preparation time : 15 mts
Cooking time : 30 mts
Serves : 2 peopl


For Dough

  • 1 cup Whole wheat flour
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • chopped corriandar leaves
  • 1/2 tsp Carom seeds
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds

For stuffing

  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 1 tsp Ginger Garlic paste
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 3 green chillies finely chopped
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp lime juice
  • 1 Onion finely chopped
Egg Paratha


For Dough

  • Take whole wheat flour in a bowl, add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin seeds, carom seeds, coriander leaves and mix well.
  • Add water slowly and start kneading a dough like regular chapati dough.
  • Cover and keep for 30 mts.

For stuffing

  • Heat oil in a pan, add onion and saute till it becomes translucent.
  • Add ginger garlic paste and fry till raw smell from ginger garlic goes away.
  • Add chopped green chillies, coriander powder and cook for 2 mts.
  • Break eggs in to onion mixture, quickly mix.
  • Add salt, coriander leaves, lemon juice and mix well.

For Paratha

  • Grease hands with little bit oil and again knead paratha dough for 1 minute just to make it smooth.
  • Make small round ball from dough, deep in flour and roll like a puri.
  • Fell in egg stuffing, close the edges, dust with flour and roll like a paratha.
  • Roast on a skillet till it gets nice golden color from both the sides. Apply oil or ghee from both the sides of paratha while roasting it.
  • Serve with sauce or chutney!


  • Can make use of regular chapati dough to make paratha.
  • May add some cheese in egg scramble mixture once it gets cool down for richer taste.

Hey Madhura, <br/>Nice receipe... I usually make a poli place it on hot tava and then pour the egg mixture (same as u prepared ) directly on the poli then flip it again pour it on the other side . This makes the poli thicker but u feel like eating a big yummy colourful chapati.Also same goes with bread u can deep fry it but if u do it like u do for chapati even than taste great. <br/>Thanks for adding the "shrikhand" receipe . <br/>
