Smoky Indo Chinese Veg Fried Rice is very popular in India. This is very simple to prepare and really tasty.


  • 1 cup boiled rice
  • 4 tsp sliced onion
  • 1/2 tsp chopped garlic
  • 4 tsp sliced carrot
  • 4 tsp sliced green pepper
  • 1/4 cup shredded cabbage
  • 4 tsp chopped spring onion
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Chilli Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Soya Sauce


  • Heat 3 tsp oil in a pan. Oil should be smoky hot.
  • Add chopped garlic, onions, Green pepper, carrots, spring onion. Add 1/4 tsp red chilli sauce and soya sauce. Mix well.
  • Add cabbage and saute for 10 seconds. Add rice and mix with vegetables.
  • Add 1 tsp red chilli sauce, 1/2 tsp soya sauce and salt to taste. Mix all sauces well with rice.
  • Veg Fried rice is ready to serve now.

Hi Madhura, Your recpie videos are awesome & very detailed. Could you post some videos of dim sums/ dumplings the chinese style in both veg and non-veg. Have tried many of your recpies and they have turned out great. I will look forward to new posts.
