Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Poppy seeds
  • 1/2 cup dry grated Coconut
  • 1/4 cup Rock sugar / Khadi sakhar
  • Dry fruits (Almonds, Pistachios, Raisins – optional)
  • Kirk powder / Kharik powder
  • 1/4 tsp Cardamom powder

Instructions

  • Heat a pan on medium heat. Add poppy seeds. 
  • Roast the seeds for 2 -3 minutes until it gets reddish color. 
  • Transfer the poppy seeds in a blender pot. Grind it into a  course powder.  
  • Roast the grated coconut on low heat for 4 – 5 minutes. 
  • Transfer the roasted coconut into the blender pot. Add rock sugar. 
  • Blend it into a coarse powder. 
  • Take the mixture into a bowl. Add dry fruits. 
  • Add kirk powder and cardamom powder. Mix well. 
  • Your panchakhadya is already.
