Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
  • pinch of Hing
  • 3 cloves of Garlic sliced
  • 2 Green Chillies chopped
  • 8 to 10 Curry Leaves
  • 2 tbsp Peanuts
  • 8 to 10 Cashew Nuts
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp Chat Masala
  • 1 tbsp Raising
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar to taste
  • 3 cups Rice Cereals

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • After the oil is heated, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, hing.
  • Then add garlic, green chillies, curry leaves, and mix well.
  • Saute it together for about a minute.
  • Then add peanuts and cook them up for another 30 seconds.
  • Then add cashew nuts, mix and cook for 30 seconds.
  • Add raisins, turmeric powder, chat masala, and mix well.
  • Add rice cereals, mix well.
  • Season up with salt and sugar.
  • After the chivda cools down store that in an airtight container.
