Gulkand is a sweet which is prepared with the help of rose petals and syrup which is all time favorite in Pan and goes very well in burfi. Enjoy this sweet prepared with the help of Khoya prepared using Ricotta Cheese. 


  • 2 Cups Ricotta Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Gulkand
  • 1/4 tsp Cardomom Powder
  • 1/2 cup Milk Powder
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • Rose Essence
Gulkand Burfi


  • Start heat on medium high and cook ricotta cheese in pan for 5 mins
  • After 5 mins, add milk powder and add Gulkand
  • Then add Sugar and and add single drop of rose essence
  • Mix well and cook mixture together for 4~5 mins
  • After 5 mins, mixture would thicken up and then add cardamom powder and mix well
  • Then pour burfi mixture into the dish. 
  • Garnish with sliced almonds and silver vark
  • Then put burfi mixture into refrigerator for about an hour
  • Cut burfi into squire size pieces
  • Gulkand Burfi is ready


  • Make sure to stir ricotta cheese continuously to avoid sticking at the pan
  • Grease dish with butter/gheee before adding burfi mixture into the dish
