Ingredients
- 2 cups Whole wheat flour
- 3/4 cup warm water (approximate)
- Sat to taste
- Oil
Instructions
- Take whole wheat flour in a deep bowl, add two tsp oil, salt to taste and mix well.
- Add warm water and start kneading the dough. The dough should be semi soft too not too stiff and not too soft.
- Let it rest for 30 mts.
- Again take a tsp oil between palms of your hands and again knead the dough till it becomes soft.
Single Layer Roti
- Take small bowl from the dough deep in dry flour and roll in oval shape.
- Apply some oil and sprinkle some dry flour, squeeze it in between and fold the two sides together.
- Again deep in dry flour and roll like roti.
- Dry roast from both the sides.
Two Layers Roti
- Take small bowl from the dough deep in dry flour and roll like poori.
- Apply some oil and sprinkle some dry flour and fold it in to half to form a semi circle.
- Again Apply some oil and sprinkle some dry flour and again fold to form a triangular shape.
- Deep in dry flour and roll like a roti in round shape.
- Roast from both the sides.
Notes
- Roll rotis evenly from all the sides.
- Apply minimum flour while rolling the rotis
